Most weeks I spend at least one night away. I book a B&B through laterooms trying to pick something cheap and unusual. There have been some fantastic successes and a few miserable nights half built dumps. I will carry on doing it, because event the dumps have been entertaining and even educational

I have rarely been drinking these days (not that I ever have TONS, but still) and instead, when I'm stressed or feel the "need a drink" thing, I take to yoga, eating well, and meditations. Makes a lot of sense.

When I did try a sip of wine mid last year (between 2nd and 3rd ops and just before the start of chemo) I found it so strong it was almost foul!
Now, if we have visitors, I have to remember to offer people an alcoholic drink because having a drink is no longer normal for me, either.

When we are in Northern Ireland some of the people that we know belong to various temperance organisations. Not offering alcohol is not something to bother about.
I may not be here often but I do think of you quite frequently and I wish you well.
