1. Humor. Not SO sensitive that I am constantly upsetting them. A willingness to share themselves with me. A willingness to get to know me and invest in our friendship. Let me be there for you when things suck, and let me trust that you will be there for me.

2. Yes. I prefer small to medium. Chris is too big. It's challenging.

3. Yes, red hot chilli peppers and Dave Matthews (the darker dave stuff).

4. I am so not allowed to touch anything in my profession for obvious reasons.

5. Past - my first marriage was to a carbon copy of my father. No surprise there that it didn't work out. Strong protector types. Predominantly though, I am attracted to crazy people with whom I have a very tumultuous relationship, but a lot of electricity and connection.

6. Some. Not all.

7. Me - comfort and ass covering. Usually hipsters or full cut bikinis. Men - I think boxer briefs are SEXY.

1. A couple. Sadly, people have always been pretty disposable to me. Out of sight, out of mind. And I am HORRIBLE and keeping in touch and connected with people. I am definitely quality instead of quantity ( ... )

7. I guess looking back to when I was getting ready for Eva to arrive and then when she finally got here, I realize that I wasted a lot of time trying to get the experience to fit my expecations of it and of myself. I wish I had just been more present and in the moment with her and let the experience unfold organically instead of trying to fit into this shangra-la I had in my head. I had read so many magazines and books and was so worried about if I was stimulating her enough and if she was developing at the right rate - did I have enough Baby Einstien toys for her?! and making sure I was all things to all people at home, at work, and make it all look like I had it balanced and that I did it effortlessly and with a cute outfit on and makeup done, with a spotless organized house like those other women who simply don't exist. It just wasn't reality, and I really wasted a lot of time on that and not spending it on things that really mattered....so I was caught in a web of feeling like a failure and feeling guilty and spending each ( ... )

1. I have a handful of close friends from my childhood, from my formative years, from college and then from my jobs in higher ed. I am definitely a quality instead of quantity person. And my friends have to love me as I am, because I am horrible at keeping in touch. Horrible ( ... )

The adding the weight thing is actually new as of last night. I did it a few times before that infrequently just as filler, but as of last night I am going to do it regularly along with my cardio. I've gotten to the point in my weight loss where even I can see a difference, and that's given me a huge boost in my motivation. Of course, I am also craving bad stuff too, so that makes it not *too* easy to be fully motivated. :)

That is the right move. You will see a difference quickly. But here is a word of warning - I know you and I have a lot of food stuff in common. I recently put weights back into my routine, and let me tell you it has really boosted my metabolism and I am starving ALL THE TIME. I have to have decent snacks so I can graze all the time, basically. If I don't I'm feeding my face with crap all day long OR not eat at all to avoid the crap and then in essence, binge at night because I'm so hungry.

I wonder if that is part of why I have been craving beef so much lately. Although, since it is my all time favorite food, craving beef is definitely not strange for me. It's just been such a strong craving it's starting to drive me mad. :0
