Question Time

Eris recently discovered Paul's boxed sets of "The Simpsons", and has been working her way through them. This evening, the episode where Homer stops going to church and has visions of god came up.

"Who's that talking to Homer?"

"It's supposed to be God."

"Why is he mean and a giant?"

"Good question."

I do know at least one person who has it on tape, but meeting up with them on a day when they remember to have it is proving tricky. I'll take any offers.

A few years ago I was watching the Simpsons episode where Bart sells his soul, with my then six year old niece. "What's a soul?" great question, don't know if i came up with a good enough answer. i think i ummmed and ahhed for a while and said something like it's the spirtual side of you.
