the hypothesis of six degrees of separation is that everyone is connected in the world through a chain of no more than five acquaintaces. I feel this has happened to me today. it turns out the new co-worker who worked in minnesota knows one of my classmates from graduate school when they both worked at the same place. how very interesting. two
