I have been taking care of plants for a co-worker for the past few weeks, while she is on vacation. she is from taiwan but she has been to more places in china than i have, not that I have been to many places in china, and I feel ashamed to admit it too. she always does extensive research before going, like showing me a tour guide about nanjing and ( Read more... )

you're watering her plants EVERY day? what kind of plants are they? did she instruct you to water them ever day? having recently killed a plant by overwatering it, I wonder if that is why they are withering? if you overwater them, the roots rot away and then the rest of the plant dies.

I'm currently rooting a new plant through the stem and it's been in water for about 1 month now. It has 1 short root now. Maybe in another month I can pot it. I don't change the water though, I just add a little bit of new water when the level goes down, so about every few days. It's doing fine.

best of luck!

she tells me to water them everyday, just small roses. she thinks they need lots of water. i overwatered at first, but now i just give it some water each day. i think they got a bad case of flower eating insects.

well, I guess if she told you to water them every day, then that's fine. I didn't realize that there were plants that needed that much water!

ugh, I hate that. bugs are the worst! best of luck!

I'm bad with plants. I'm also bad with laundry. So no help here. I remember when you killed that orchid. I would not entrust you with plants. Or anything living, really.

"for those that are feeling romantically pathetic, you are not the only ones never had a relationship before."

Yeah, we've all seen "40-Year Old Virgin."

"look at me, i am still normal, i think."

Not a good example. I don't think you're normal.

"we are all still quite sane."

Hah. That's what YOU think.

And then you hit 40. And you're like, "GODDAMN!!"

Your rabbit is in Michigan, where you left him, in someone else's care.

And yes, you can help it. You just don't seem to want to. I guess there are more important things in life. Like...blogging on livejournal.

I really should get you a vibrator one of these days.

that's okay, the conversation tends to get dry when you have nothing in common anymore.
