another year had passed.  like the past however many years, I couldn't get up to watch the rose parade.  I guess i had a choice between new year countdown and rose parade, and I chose the first one, definitely not a morning person.  i'd rather snuggle up under my warm blankets and listen to the gushing santa ana winds pushing against my window

I had triple shifts from Sunday night until Monday night, so I slept through all of it. Sounds like I didn't miss much.
