There is a picture of the Earth taken by a deep space probe as it neared the edge of our solar system. It shows a few beams of light, and in one of those beams is a pale blue dot. That dot is Earth

I used to watch Cosmos when I was a kid with my dad. It's probably one of the reasons I love outer space so much.
