i've realized that in situations like that, where buses from the ferries are totally overwhelmed, it's much smarter to just take a cab to scott road or edmonds. then just take the train into town. if you buddy up with 3 other people, it'll cost you about $10 per person, maybe less. it beats waiting around for a ridiculously crowded bus to ladner, then waiting yet again for another ridiculously crowded bus to downtown or scott rd.

i used to think burnaby mountain was so neat, but now that i work there the novelty has worn off. or maybe it just has something to do with all the construction that's constantly blocking off the road to my work.
