Honors Class?

So I spoke with my advisor today, she’s the head of the Religion department at Hunter college, in order to get the ball rolling on the graduation process. After this semester I will have 118 credits under my belt, enough to graduate, however I do have some GER core requirements that I need to fulfill. I think you would do great in the class. Ken Hite wrote an essay that was in his book, Dubious Shards about why CoC differs from games like D&D. In CoC, you normally play an oridinary person and not basically, a superbeing as you can in D&D. I play both and I agree with him. When I play CoC, I am usually just an ordinary person with a little bit more knowledge of the darkness. In D&D, I could be a thief hiding in shadows or a mage blasting creatures with magic missles. His premise is that in CoC, you fight against the darkness so that others can sleep peacefully in the night. To me , that is part of being a hero. The CoC character is not doing it for wealth or even xp, they do it because it is the right thing to do. :-)
