Blogger is like that with me. If it wasn't so impossible I'd say someone's been NOT exercising net neutrality. But I like Blogger more than LJ so I deal with the lag and still post there. Besides, I am in hell without Google Reader or Gmail.

Google is love.

Though until last week, I couldn't access Livejournal either.

Taxi drivers are the same all over the world. I had almost the same sort of one-sided conversation with a cabby in London.

i do not like political small talks too especially when the cab driver tend to side a political figure I strongly abhor. T_T

but when it's interesting or amusing, as you put it, i don't mind it. 'cause most of the time they do have something really worthy to say. if only people truly care about the country like they do, our country would be half as depressing as it is now.

I love this entry. And, no, not just because of you mentioning me or your non!-insult :P I adored the cab driver anecdote and how you ended. You totally defeated the Taiwan tectonic plates and (insert conspirator-of-choice against bloggers here).

not that i can't stand them, i just don't want to rest while riding a cab.

actually, one way to avoid cab drivers from starting any small talk is to pretend that you're sleeping or at least, very very tired.

on the same note, jem and joseph once boarded a taxi whose driver talks about how Vatican II is an abomination to the Catholic faith.

Prohibition? eeeew
