Before you all stab be with tapers and spit on me, I've learned my lesson. I'm staying here at 4g for no less than three months to take care of bitchy. But thats not the real reason I posted. I started off with sweet almond... but apparently it's quite moisture intensive, and paired with my naturally oily skin, I started getting little pimple on my ears! So I switched back to the hypoallergenic blend and jojoba.

Glad you love! I really wanted to contribute something useful.

do you know the mL conversion for grams of carrier oils?
also, do you have links about the usefulness of these particular essential oils? i didn't think they had any sort of healing properties for skin.

I mostly reference from a few textbooks I have... but I will have a look online and see if I can add some links for ya.

20ml would be fine. I'll edit to add ml.

<3 I'm adding this to my memories.

I've got jojoba, ricebran, and apricot kernal oils I've been playing around with, as well ass wild lavender, orange, lemongrass, and one other thing I *just* forgot.

I like blending a little of each of the oils and using just a little orange and lemongrass oil. It seems to help with the dry skin and ear-zits I've been getting (this happens every winter - dry skin = oil more = get zits, boo!).

Oh man, I hate ear-zits. I find apricot kernel gives me zits, so I had to swap back to my hypoallergenic blend (which funny enough HAS a percentage of apricot kernel in the mix) or jojoba.

I seriously love jojoba, I use it for EVERYTHING!

Are lavender essential oils in commercial body lotions? Or is it just the extract that you would get from a direct body oil? Because I've never heard that about it's adverse effects on pregnant women but I'll immediately stop using my lavender body lotion if it's bad for me. O_o

I'm not sure.. you'd have to ask the manufacturer about that.

Lavender can bring on menstruation, which of course is NOT what you want went pregnant, as it would cause a miscarrige. The dose is very low, so I'm not really sure if it would effect pregancy, but the warning are always there to prevent worst case senarios.

Oh whoa. I didn't know that. I'll take the "better safe than sorry" route with that one. O_o
