I can't think of what else it could be. It def. looks like a bruise... but it doesn't hurt and the hole itself isn't giving me any problems so yea... dunno.

It probably wasn't a blowout, since they take like a few days to develop after swelling up insanely. It was probably just the skin your jewelry had to push through,

At first it def. did, but it's since started to fade and now looks like a pale purple bruise.

yeah. that can happen to me when i get pinched, it just sounds like burst blood vessels beneath the skin.
