In a similar manner
Much further away

Time was kind
but this world is not.
Stripped
of another mindful master.

Wise, thoughtful eyes
through spectacles
gazed upon this earth with
an incomparable joy.

Much further away
now and always

a shining soul
a kindred one
gone
And not to be replaced

Our sage;
whose last breath
held the knowledge of this world;
not to be known
