I'm living in College Station now. I must say it's a lot different than home...but I still get that homie feeling here. It's so comfortable and laid-back...I love it. I must admit though...the weekends can get a little boring at times. Good thing Austin is just an hour away...and I happen to have a best friend that lives there. Awesome! The living

is that they don't know what a botana is!

but austin is only an hour away from me and they have good pizza

Tru dat, no one knows mexican food better than the valley. The tortillas here at their "mexican restuarants" suck big balls.

And yeah Amanda...I'm about to be in the same position you are with the long distance boyfriend. I just don't know how to tell him in a way where it won't suck b/c I really love Adam.

Well I hope everything turns out alright between you and adam...because from what i've heard he's a really good guy. But damn, the long distance is a killer. Especially right now!

But yeah, for sure...nothing beats the mexican food in the valley...i haven't gotten a craving for it yet. I guess its too soon?

Is it true nobody in florida says "ya'll?" because i met a girl from florida and she commented on how only texas people say "ya'll" and if she said it in florida people would make fun of her. I don't know...just curious....

lol. I haven't been here long enough to notice that nobody knows what a botana is. hahah. But yeah, i suppose you're right on that one. I've never seen so many white people in my life! And i'm not used to people never hearing the last name "garcia" before.

But yeah...you're definately right about the shows in Austin...and I hope to go to one soon. Keep me updated on any good shows coming up =)
