“Use the Force Vaughn” Seriously, I haven’t framed any needlework but here are my suggestions for what they are worth. No guarantees so take my advice at your on risk. I would use as few chemicals as possible. Is the stain on the fabric only or both fabric and stitching? If it’s on the stitching it makes it more difficult. One product that might work is “Orvus Quilt Soap”. Some needlework shops carry it. If you find it follow the directions carefully. My second choice is Dreft, which is a detergent you can find at Wal Mart. I wouldn’t use anything like Wool-Lite or Dawn. I have two customers that do a lot of needlework that I will see Wednesday and I will ask them and get back to you if they have better solutions. Sorry that I am not much help. Good Luck!
