LARP and etc...

The LARP went well, all things considered.... the werewolf narrator was sicks, so they had to appoint another ST. Problem, this ST had to play a required NPC in another venue for most of the night. So we puppies did nothing for most of a 7 hours LARP, but we did rob some jewelry stores; at the theurges suggestion. But we were even screwed a ( Read more... )

There is a reason that I don't play a Galliard, Mike. A very good reason-I can write prose and free-verse poetry, but BALLAD is not my forte by a LONGSHOT.

And do we get extra brownie points for pissing off the Get?

may decide to do them as SAGAS, less need to rhyme. ;-)

I just look forward to hearing what you say about your friend the Fang. Metis or no, a Galliard should know a born leader when he sees one ( ... )

chris was talking about each of us bringing in our own packs as well as form a pack of alphas. And he had a VERY cool idea using rite of tribal unity, gaining a gift that allows upon suffering anything like a death blow you manifest your Tribal Totem like an avatar. Also, i think he's talking about making the elder fight a "death run". We were talking and we both expressed a desire to go out with a bang instead of a whimper as far as those characters were concerned. Also that way our current pack wouldn't be calling them every time things got hot. It would also lead to more political problems, as the city would become the site of the last battle of LEGENDS from many tribes. Said tribes would then want a presence in the city, and with that comes a desire for control. Also he mentioned if the Tribal Unity rite were done and the sacrifices extravegent enough, that the caern may go up in level (from 3 to 4 or 5).

THAT Does sound cool. If Jason were to fall leading a heroic battle against the Wyrm . . . well, you know, I have an evil suggestion in this regard . . .

The Spirals are cavorting here like crazy trying to bring Eater of Souls, who destroyed the Croatan, back for another Round!! And only the combined elders from many tribes would have the power to stop it - with their lives, probably!! And that would make this the sight of a glorious battle, and give the 'youths' we're currently playing plenty of heroes to look up to. It would certainly bring in political problems as more tribes come in to vie for control of the Caern, but they would also be reinforcements to take the fight to the vampires after the Spirals are annihilated. We could even clean out the Spiral Hive and perhaps reclaim it as a Gaian Caern! This could be really good . . .

Bugger it being the Eater, make it the Defiler. Think about the drugs we're dealing with. Hows that for scary?

Sorry I came into the conversation late... selena_3797 February 3 2005, 07:31:24 UTC
So, I've been talking to Chris about something a little different than "We all die." Mike if you look in the Fianna Tribebook, look on page 74. There is a level 5 rite there Rite of the Hero's Sleep. I think that would be better, especially if the shit ever hits the fan. Oh, I don't recall ever hearing Chris say that the alphas were going to be making a pack. They were only going to come in and bring their own packs with them and fight together one last time. If Chris does decide to make the alphas a pack, please, please, do not suggest that we take back Dragon. I hated Dragon. He's an eastern totem as far as I'm concerned and there are much better things out there. Yes, I already know about the Silver Spiral pack idea or whatever the hell it was... haven't made up my mind on how I feel about that one. Either way, I do know that, so far, Chris is planning on having someone (don't know who, depends on how things work out) live long enough to walk the spiral backwards to close the hive. I don't think that it's possible to make a hive ( ... )

no he has not gone over the history, would really appreciate the info. Need to know it for a few reasons, including to figure out how bloody old I am (i.e. how long since the caern battle). Any info would rock, and am working with Lin on her char (a sane female) and our pack. Will want chris's approval on the pack; was thinking Karin, Lin, 3 striders, a bubasti, and an ajaba; yay Ahadi. Tell him he can give me a buzz at 757-468-0960 any time, and well my email is the same as my lj (just at yahoo.com).
