[Lavi had been expecting this day, but really, how well could you prepare yourself for being without any source of light whatsoever?]
So if I walk from here.. the door should be ri-- ow!
[Estimation: WRONG. Please try again.]
Okay, let's try this again. The door, the door, where are you, door.. aha!
[Finally managing to find the door, he opens

Lavi?

Lenalee?
[Was she below him?]

[Her eyes train, uselessly, above her, while her arms drop at her sides.]

[Lavi makes an attempt to pull himself up, but the floorboards begin to crack and soon give way to his weight.
Hello, Lenalee. Have a Lavi fall on top of you.]

At least until he heard the voice, coming from some where above him, and those bright blue eyes travel upwards, taking in a shock of red hair against the pitch black.
Why, oh why did it have to be Lavi? It couldn't have been someone he actually got along with? Or better, his worst enemy. Yeah, that would have been good. At least he could have laughed then instead of feeling some sort of.... obligation to help since Lavi was a friend of Lenalee's. ]
I think you'd have more luck with the stairs.
[And he's not sighing inwardly as he says it, either. Nor is he fighting to keep the irritation out of his voice. Nope. He's not. Not at all.]
[ooc: Ahem.... We can has awkward fun times and maybe them actually... coming to some sort of mutual understanding time? xDDD]

[Lavi's only struggling to not fall again seeing as how he'd fallen through a hole again. Lenalee couldn't know of this, nope. Even though he really had been as careful as he could have been. Although he admittedly would have preferred to continue hanging there alone than to hear a certain someone's voice below him..]
You think?
[Haha. Cloud was a comedian.]
I think I hate going from having only half my vision to not being able to see anything. You know this is the second hole I've fallen through? I'm getting used to it.

[Cloud's eyes narrow in the dark, and just for a moment, he considers leaving the other there to dangle precariously above the ground. But if he did that, Lenalee would have his hide for such. On a silver platter. So it was with this knowledge in mind that he crossed his arms across his chest, bending his head backwards so he could take in the full sight in front of him. Which he had to admit... it was pretty funny.]
Maybe you should find a safe place and stay there.
[And this, this isn't a little smirk forming on his face. Not at all.]
Once you get down, of course.

[Lavi tries not to move a lot. After all, the last time that had happened, he'd fallen on top of Lenalee. God knows he has no desire to land on top of Cloud, of all people. Not only would that have been awkward beyond belief, it would have also been.. just weird.]
I was going to a safe place. I just got done helping Lenalee, okay?
[Oh, he can hear that smirk in your voice, Cloud.]
Are you just gonna stand there and make fun of me in your head, or are you actually gonna try to help me at some point?
[If Lavi had known Cloud better, like oh say on the same level as Yu, he would have joked about him staring at his butt. But let's save death for tomorrow, yes?]
