[The scream had been unexpected, and he stops when he hears it, bright eyes searching through the darkness to try and discern who made it. It wasn't like he'd be of much help, but he could try.

At least until he heard the voice, coming from some where above him, and those bright blue eyes travel upwards, taking in a shock of red hair against the pitch black.

Why, oh why did it have to be Lavi? It couldn't have been someone he actually got along with? Or better, his worst enemy. Yeah, that would have been good. At least he could have laughed then instead of feeling some sort of.... obligation to help since Lavi was a friend of Lenalee's. ]

[Cloud's eyes narrow in the dark, and just for a moment, he considers leaving the other there to dangle precariously above the ground. But if he did that, Lenalee would have his hide for such. On a silver platter. So it was with this knowledge in mind that he crossed his arms across his chest, bending his head backwards so he could take in the full sight in front of him. Which he had to admit... it was pretty funny.]

Maybe you should find a safe place and stay there.

[Lavi tries not to move a lot. After all, the last time that had happened, he'd fallen on top of Lenalee. God knows he has no desire to land on top of Cloud, of all people. Not only would that have been awkward beyond belief, it would have also been.. just weird.]
