A short time ago my dad brought a 3GB thumbnail drive back from the car dealership he was working at. Seems it was lying there when someone took it for a test drive and then forgot it. So he brought to me after no one came to claim it. It had been lying here for a month or two now, so I decided to go and have a look at its contents, perhaps hoping

I'd say get in touch with the military and return it. Can you just imagine waking up one morning with choppers all around your house and tanks/trucks/jeeps pulling up and a squad breaks in, aiming guns at you demanding the drive and interrigating you for hours on what you hacked out of the drive (even if you didn't) @.@;;

And it could be write-protected, so you couldn't wipe it. . . easily at least.

This is assuming that your military wouldn't do that if you reported this to them.

The good-guy in me says find a way to get in touch with the military and return it. The greedy part says keep it though. ^^;
