Well, as promised, I'm updating LJ while on my trip to Philippines to let people know how I'm doing. At Sea-Tac Doubletree Hotel right now as my flight was supposed to be at 12am last 'night' / morning, then was delayed to 1, then sometime before 2am, then 9am due to airplane maintenance issues. Wow, what a delay! I wouldn't have pitched a bitch about it, either. I mean, srsly, bitching won't make things better, so why bother. I hate people that complain about everything so they feel they need ass-tons of compensation or else they'll be assholes all the time.

Well, do lots of shtuff. Eat teh caek. Liek teh caek. *eat eat eat* Heh heh.

OK so they're already trying to kill me. The moment I get off the plane, free chocolate-covered macadamias. More stuff to carry, but yummy... I go to the noodle bar, and there is free everything. Noodles, dumplings, drinks, etc.

And what? FREE PINEAPPLE CAKES. What the shit. They are so bad for your body, but so good for taste... and LUCK AND FORTUNE, apparently, according to China Airlines. If that was true then I've probably eaten enough pineappel caeks to win my next lottery ticket.

Pineapple cakes are awesome. If I'd known earlier that you like them so much, I would've given some of the ones I got from Taiwan! I brought back plenty, though they're kinda almost all gone now.

And omg, I LOVE VIP LOUNGES!

No problem. I even got a random filipino guy (who lives in Seattle, coincidentally) that I met in the VIP lounge absolutely hooked to the free ones that they had there, and those weren't even THAT good amongst pineapple cakes.

Well, if you need some more, I think I'm going to buy a ton more of them on my way back (since I stop by Taiwan on the way to Seattle as well and have like...another 4-hour wait, which is luckily part of the plan)

That's fine, hon. I'm in the process of writing an Email to you as well, it's just that the intarwebz in this internet cafe is soo damn slow. (I got jipped!) Well, hopefully you guys are having fun with Rock Band or whatever you're doing currently.

I will! There was some trouble getting a SiM card at first for the phones we sent, so I couldn't get ahold of one early on. However, I picked up a few worldwide-call type stuff for my aunt's cellphone (good for a whopping 25 minutes, woo) so I'll at least give you a call if you're not busy between oh...4-8pmish PST on the 21st...since it's the 22nd here.
