So apparently people can send me text messages via Livejournal, I can customise ad settings, and LJ can auto-detect my location. But there is no way to search my own entries, which go back nearly 10 years. What sort of priorities does the dev team have? Search is a basic function of any website ( Read more... )

Not bad manners at all, especially if you aren't all that fussed on what they are updating about :)

I like the searching entries idea, you should put that forward to the right people!!

Thanks for the feedback - I don't like to hurt anyone's feelings, but there's a limit to how many "to-read" updates I can handle. This person apparently wants to read everything ever published!

It's hard these days to know who the right people are - but I'm going to chuck a message in to the support/features area just in case.

Haha, no not you or anyone here on LJ or Chicklit - we all have abundant yet sensible rates of updates :) I'm going to see if there's a way I can just see their reviews and not their to-read list, otherwise it's unfriending time.
