my car was hit yesterday while it was parked along El Camino Real. someone hit it while I was in work. The police did pick the person up.

my car is undriveable, possibly totalled.

I have few other details, I will post more as it comes in.

Man, that sucks! :( Looking at the silver lining, though, you were pretty lucky in your unlucky situation - the bright sides being:

1) You weren't in the car at the time
2) You were parked
3) The police were able to pick up the person who'd hit you even though it was a hit-and-run

Although, living where ya do and not having transportation readily available... big time suckage. Wishing you the best of luck in dealing with insurance companies! :)
