Remember, that's why they're called coping strategies, they just aren't always so productive.
I was stressed about something difficult at work and ate dinner twice and then a LOT of chocolate the other day, and then proceeded to get as sick as I have ever gotten in my life. I was not entirely sure it wasn't intentional until after I had gone to bed and woke up and couldn't *stop* throwing up and realized I was in fact just plain sick.
It was a little disturbing that I was willing to think my usually-managable food issues had escalated that much that fast though, and it gave me a better appreciation for what people with all-out eating disorders go through. I'm really sorry, and I hope whatever is going on with you is something you can pass through as unscathed as possible.
