Oh dears, I just finished The Book Thief. I read and cried in a cafe, then read and cried on the bus, then read and cried in an absurdly comfortable chair in my library. Sweet, sweet tears, shuddering gasps, noisy napkin noseblowing. I just dropped it in the RETURNS slot.

I loved that book. You should read it!

I put it on hold at the library when you mentioned it before. It's waiting for me now and I'll be picking it up tomorrow! I'll be sure to read it when I'm home alone - no boys to interrupt me!

I remember reading it, but I don't remember many details. I must rectify that.

It's actually pretty normal for me to not remember books if I've only read them once--it's one of the reasons I reread so many books.

yes, i have this same problem. it's so frustrating to know you've read something, but to have retained NOTHING!
