After spending a wonderful day just chilling and napping, my mom and I decided to go over to Yorkdale mall to do some shopping. I got myself some tinted moisturizer and stuff from Shoppers and we found this really pretty dress for Matt's dad's wedding in June, so we were both in a good mood

And I've very glad my mom is a lot more level headed than I am. Though afterward she started swearing up a storm. But you know, whatevs.
I called the ambulance and the police so that girl in the car should be thanking me that I didn't just jump into the car and strangle her!

And, having been at the receiving end of someone who's very first comment to me was "what the hell's wrong with you? Look what you did to my car!" I have to feel bad for the poor girl.
But I am very glad that you and your mom are fine - car accidents are scary and awful.

But c'mon now. Running through a RED light?! It's a little bit different than ours accidents, I think. But whatever.
Anyway, yes, it's good that everyone is okay and no one was seriously injured (as far as I know... though I'm not too sure about the passenger of the other car).
But I'm not about to feel bad about what I said to her. I was pretty fricken pissed off, understandably so. And the first thing that came to my mind wasn't "well, I got in an accident before too, so I should be nice," that's for sure!

And yes, I'm sooooo thankful that it wasn't as bad as it could have been, considering there were other cars we could have hit in the spinning process, as well as a pole.
So phew! lol
And girls night out sounds lovely! Can't wait!

She could have seriously injured my mom or myself (since she did hit my side of the car... if my mom was going just a little slower than she was, I... well, I don't even want to think about how badly I may have been hurt) or have harmed her friends or herself more so than she did. She could have also hit other cars in the process of hitting mine all because her music was too loud, she was busy chatting with friends, she was lost, going too fast, and just plain not paying attention. Yeah, it's too bad for her. It's sad that it's hard lessons like these that teach people to pay closer attention to what they are doing when they're driving, BUT I'm not going to feel bad because I was upset with her HITTING OUR CAR. Because of this my mom's insurance is going to sky rocket and we're down a car for quite a while. I'm not going to feel bad because I'm angry about this.
Anyhoo, thankfully things were not worse than they were.
Thanks for your sincere thoughts! :D
