I have a recurring problem with bartholin's cysts, meaning that four times now I have had what is normally a pea-sized, useless gland in my vulva swell up to the size of lemon wedge and then have had to have it opened and drained in a painful procedure. It's been a real pain in the....vagina. The surgery I am having--the marsupialization--is supposed to be a procedure that will prevent the recurrence. It involves making a pouch out of the gland wall, thus the kangarooification.

Good luck madam. I am sorry that you have go through things that humanitarians in Africa are trying to outlaw. But I very much know you're tough. All for the good, right? Let me know how things turn out.
