Wow. Sex and publicity really do not mix. I guess that lesson shouldn't be that hard for me to come by. I'll be doing the friends-only thing for most part I guess, not because I want to, really, but because it is supposedly the sensible thing to do.

I think I'm "in on the deal and want to be" already so you don't need to add me again... but what on earth happened? Actually, if the problem is unsolicited listeners, there might be no good way to answer that in this forum. But we can all wonder.

people seem to have a way of finding me. my intent for this journal was to make it known to either a.)people who aren't in my everyday life but whose audience i can appreciate or b.) people who are so very much in my everyday life that my smut'n'slutdom has no possibility to shock or harm them, but not to c.)people on the outer rim of my everyday life who know me but don't really know me, and thus draw uninformed conclusions about what i'm doing and why.

i'm really sick of the "sex is a private issue" mandate we all live with, so it's no fun for me to privitize it in this way. at the same time, i really don't need any internet-related drama in my life. you know?

That really sucks, and if they are making life difficult for you, that really really sucks.

I am not so very much a social creature, so when people who couldn't deal with the open and frank way I talk about -all- aspects of my life in my "real" journal (http://springdew.com) gave me a hard time, I didn't change a thing, and let them remove themselves from my life.

Not everyone has that luxury though, and I understand how it sucks.

I'm really sorry that you've come under this criticism.

I tried to have an entirely anonymous journal where everything was public, but the one person who I didn't want to find it managed to find it based on my friends list. It really really sucked.

I think springdew had a good approach to dealing with this. Unfortunately, it takes quite a bit of strength in the face of criticism to do it. (BTW, if you haven't friended spring yet, I think you should. She's a quality gal who may be up your alley.)

Hi, I don't know if the deal is open to the more reticent lurkers but if it is, I would like to continue reading you. Thanks.

Well, I just found you off of a post (The roller rink one) on Seattle. I'm mostly interested on reading other people's writing styles; I ususally just keep to my own little corner of the 'net. If you're looking for readers, I'd love to have a go. Feel free to check out my stuff...
