Yes indeedy, which is why I call myself a pessimistic optimistic: I hope for the best and expect the worst. That way I'm prepared for the worst and always happy when the opposite occurs. Lately there's been quite a bit of goodness going on in my life, for which I'm extremely thankful and grateful, especially since it gives me hope for the future. It's a future I've already been working toward, but there's now added depth and joy to it, which makes all the hard work I have to do to get it that much more rewarding. (I'm still impatient to try to get it all over with, though! :D)
