You know, I was about to ask if you'd been drinking, but then I stopped and thought about the fact that we're staying in a city with a bunch of people from other worlds. I could maybe believe that the United States has a full time mascot. And that he could probably take some looking after. I'm not really here on official business, so why not?

You'll get paid for it and everything. Promise. The nation being targeted is a world power, and with the introduction of the United States, there's a chance he could be one as well.

He's pretty cool, actually. Sounds pretty young. Really casual and easy to speak with. He was alarmed at the reason for my being here, so basically I've got full cooperation as long as I make sure his avatar person is safe.
