I just got deployed to either Dupont or Aberdeen Washington. I'm still not sure exactly where my final destination is but I'm flying to Seattle at 7:05 tomorrow morning. Nothing like trying to pack 3 months of supplies but work equipment and a ladder into two suitcases. Ugh.

I'm not sure. This might be a long one, I may be there as long as 90 days. The storm just happened and flood/wind storms tend to linger for a long time, especially since they had a bad storm about this time last year.

Do you get to go home for Christmas?

If you're still there, assuming I-5 isn't still waterlogged, I'll come visit you (probably with my mom) sometime in early January! :-) (Aberdeen's about 2 hours from Gresham)

You are going to Washington? This is like sign number 307 that I need to visit there... Did you know Ednie just moved to Washington? How long will you be there for? How close are you to Seattle and or Olympia? Happy holidays and stuff... sorry that I am an absent friend, but I do miss you and think of you often.

It's okay, I stink at keeping up with people too. But I also think of you often, particularly when I see Spidey memorabilia. :)

You should totally come to Washington, though it's fairly nasty up here right now, it can't be worse than Syracuse. I'm a little over an hour from Seattle, staying right outside of Olympia in Tumwater. What is Ednie doing out here?

Oh, and I have no idea how long I'll be here, I pretty much live in the moment when I'm working, I could be here another 2 months or they could send me home next week. Ya never know.

Oh poor Joel alone for Christmas =( Ednie is going to be teaching at University of Washington at Vancouver... I don't know where that is in relation to Olympia, but she'll be living in Portland Oregon while she's working there. It's weird though, because between my Uncles who live in Seattle and Ashley, who's going to Evergreen in Olympia, and Ednie teaching there and you moving there I feel like my everything is pointing to vacation in the northwest... although, I don't get any vacation days until March, and by that time you may be gone. Katie Bernstein lives out there too I think, in Seattle. I haven't talked to her in awhile, but the last time I did that's where she was.

I wish you would get deployed to Syracuse... although, I guess that we would have to have something bad happen here for that to happen, huh?
