Here's a little update. I've been extended here in Ft. Dix until the 2nd of November. Why am I not happy about this? Because the rest of the guys leave for Kuwait on the 21st of this month. I get to go replace someone if someone get hurt within the first few days, but until then I'm here waiting.

I'm now at 180 lbs again. Working out and sweating means I'm losing weight. I'm stressing out pretty bad too, to the extent that my sergeants are starting to take notice. I want to know what God wants for me, but then again that is the million dollar question. I just wanna be happy again hahaha. But instead, I'm a soldier. That comes first.

Is incredible. War games starting at 0100, with actual paid Iraqi-Americans who rush our camp with AK's and blanks trying to take us out. I can't describe the emotions you feel, even in a simulation, when you are frantically performing squad manuevers to take out an rpg ( Read more... )

Off to war. Away from home, again. Leaving home before it became familiar enough to even be called home haha, kind of ironic.
