How DARE you come outside and complain about not getting a tip from us. Most of our group has worked in the service industry, and that, first off, is a MAJOR no-no ( Read more... )

rude, shit service, wtf, dammit!, bitch, worst. service. ever.

Is customer service dead anymore? I swear it is so hard to find good people these days. I've had to cross a couple restaurants off my list lately because the service was appalling.

Is customer service dead anymore?

Apparantly so ;D But I got the gist, just messing with ya.

Geez, people suck. I'm being fucked over by my University, and I'm paying a lot more money. What can you do?

But get this, there might be a reason: the bitch manager at my friend's store yelled at her for being too nice and friendly and good at her job because the useless managing skank sucks at her job, and is showing her up. My friend is a lowly cashier, and worked there less time than said manager.

But no, she was very attentive and helpful to her other tables...she just ignored us completely. There's no excuse for that.

Though the manager there is a dick... and dicks would tend to hire dicks....

... Maybe you all smell. 8D

I remember some bastard waiter in NY yelled at my grandparents for "not leaving a big enough tip" and co-erced more money out of them.

They've been to the US multiple times; they know how tipping works, probably better than I do. I was so angry and wish I could've been there to tell him to STFU and not extort money from polite and quiet senior citizens. T_T

Blah. Is there a higher management you can write for how she treated you, though? It's gonna run their chain into the ground.

Actually, gratuity has nothing at all to do with gratitude; it's a Latin stem-word for "free" since it's a "free" fixed portion of the total included in the final bill. ^^ You can tip on top of it, but that's entirely optional.

But whatever, she was still a complete bitch and I'm surprised you guys didn't ask for the manager. Then again, I probably would've just wanted to GTFO myself. She seriously flipped you off as you went out? O_O

meh. i was so drunk last night i was sleeping on the table as it took the time for us to get our checks. we all were just exhausted and wanted to leave so badly.

it's all good, though. there were four of us that had to deal with her, and the company hq will likely be getting letters from us now that we've had some time to simmer down and write a tad more, shall we say, socially acceptably. ^^;

Figured as much, which is why I said "...you know, they were probably tired and just said 'Fuck this noise; we'll deal with it when we aren't exhausted', and left." ^_~

I hope it costs her her job, or the manager's. Or both. There is no excuse for that kind of behavior.

I was going to ask if you'd called and complained to the manager yet, but I see from a previous comment that he's a dick. -_- In which case, why didn't you just dine-n-dash? ;D

because two of us in the group were servers and wouldn't let the others even if they'd wanter do. ^^; also, we were seated at the far back of the restaurant, and i was so far gone on drunkahol that i couldn't walk to the car - they had to come get me from the restaurant's front step. e.e

yaaaaaay booze ( never again ) *cringe*

Ah, that would do it then. ¬_¬; This is why I like getting drunk in the comfort of my or one of my friend's homes.

...ok, so it's actually because the drunker I get, the gayer I get, but I still don't... OMG WHAT'S THAT OVER THERE?! *runs*

I always got the impression that behaving that sort of way towards somebody who *deserves* it would get you fired on the spot, much less towards people who didn't do anything particularly wrong.
