My computer doesn't seem to want to recognize kanji when it's in text format.  Basically all I'm getting is a series of boxes on screen where the text should be.  Anyone want to give me a hand with fixing this problem?

I'm not hugely Windows saavy, so I can only assume that I don't have the right language packs for XP.
