i dunno... it's not a BAD song, for top 40. it's maybe the same way i feel about Toxic by Britney Spears... something I wouldnt change if it came on while i was doing dishes or something and the radio happened to be on and happened to be on a pop station (this is all beside the point) but that would be as far as it went.

I don't love or hate this song perse... but whenever I hear it I look down and it never fails that my foot is tapping to the pop-esque faux rockness of the song. So I guess you could say my left foot likes the song and the rest of me is as of yet undecided.

anyways I have to say that it's a good song. She is a good singer and that's the point of the music - she may not write her own stuff but it's about her singing, the same way someone who may not have the vocal talent but writes great music is talented and valid also.
I think people are too easy to hate a song or dismiss it as commercial simply because it's pop or top 40. Anyways, it's a good song, has a good beat and it has some emotion and a good hook that makes you want to sing along. Sean
