peter, you should keep a diary when you are on tour. it might seem stupid and trivial at the time but everyone will thank you for it later, when you cash the big cheque from a publisher! oop, i mean when you can remind everyone of all the daily shit that happened!

i totally get what you're saying... there's too much and not enough happening to write about.

i don't know, when you get back you should check out "Cometbus Omnibus" by Aaron Cometbus. he scams greyhound bus tickets constantly and takes month long trips all across the united states without knowing a soul along the way... and he's a pretty shy guy. so his trips are very lonely and descriptive without being superficial. but a lot of sortof random stuff happens that is really interesting and life changing.

but just his honesty of description is beautiful. it's like, describing things that happen but not analyzing them too much. just letting the events speak for themselves.

it might be an idea for your tour diary. just kindof touching on the things that happen without trying to make too much out of it.
