This place sucks. There is like less than 4 inches of snow on the ground. And most of it is melty slush. I mean okay my condo parkinglot, was pretty icy but then again It was 3 inches of solid ice. still doesn't phase Colorado boy. this shit is fucking April/may weather. I start making my way to work, People are idiots. it seems as though in VA

glad to know someone else shares my loathing of suvs. they really raise my blood pressure. particularly (obviously) the hummers. it just blows my mind that anyone is so blind to popular opinion that they would drive one out in public. it's gotta be the most loathed car in the world. anyway...

As far as SUV's go, I don't hate them at all. I love them. I own one and my first car was one, and I will always own one.

But alas I am no soccer mom. Where I come from the snow is asshole deep to a tall indian. 4 wheel drive is fairly usefull. And I am not too much of a pickup guy. I think Hummers are a bit excessive. but thats only because I am not a fan of the desert, a jeep wrangler would do circles around a hummer any day on a decent 4wheel path or in the forrest, Hummers are too wide. most tree don't come 14 1/2 feet apart, and their wheelbase is too long, They get high centered fairly often from what I hear.

Now in the desert thats a diffrent story. Awesome dune/riverbed kind of off roading.
But who the fuck wants desert? Theres nothing to shoot at in them.
I'll take a forrest stocked with cute little bambies any day of the week.

oh yeah, and i'm not against suvs if you actually need an suv. my parents have one because we need to haul the horse trailer. what i hate is the soccer mom road hog types who dont need or deserve an suv. i also am totally annoyed by single child families who think they need minivans. what is that?

i never understood that crap. People buy this HUGE SUV then wont drive it in the snow, or even worse CAN'T FUCKIN PARK IT!!! If you don't know how to drive your truck, give it to me. I'll teach you.

I know exactly how you feel! This from a California guy I know yes, but I have had to learn to drive in the snow or be considered one of those pussies as you so eloquently put it. "All vehicles are four wheel stop, 4x4 won't keep you out of the ditch, it just makes it easier to get out!" this was told to me a long time ago by a friend from Minnesota when taking off in my butt rock firebird in the middle of a snow storm in New York this one quote change my opinion on driving in tough weather!!!
