I'll be in Anaheim. Not sure which hotel yet; there are four conference hotels, but I'll be gunning for the Marriott. Guess I'll need to find out from our faculty adviser just how much bread the chapter and foundation will be coughing up to help on this one.

I never considered myself an overachiever in any way whatsoever. The fact that I beat out people who could fairly be called overachievers is either a testament to my determination when I finally set goals for myself, or solid proof that there is no just, benevolent force at the center of this universe.

I'll take it either way.

Sorry to hear about your wayward magazine. The Economist is a perennial favorite of mine, too, when I get around to actually reading magazines.

I'm mostly studying the Mankiw texts and using about 35 lbs of borrowed text banks from my econ prof. The Economist is richly entertaining (sheesh, only a seriously hopeless dork could ever admit this), but it probably isn't going to give me the practice I really need for this.
