I bought it just for Portal. Still only played Portal.

heh... same as the above. You've seen me play halo and left4dead... I'd need an FPS 097-level class to catch up.

Yeah, but the game is immensely forgiving, and there's a pyro with a flamethrower who just has to get close, aiming not really required.

The medic is an important support person, and his best attack is actually a melee weapon - a bone saw.

The engineer builds and repairs a turret and a health dispenser. He's the ultimate defender and many a game is won with good engineers.

And then there's the bloody back-stabbing spy...

So, as you can imagine, the various roles require skills and many of them are not the standard run and gun abilities of something like Halo.

I'm playing tonight around 7:30, if you're interested. Otherwise, first week of June.

I want to get more Team Fortress games being played with just my friends, and if it takes me running you through a TF2 101, then I'm happy to do it.

And I am in. Though, yes, it's going to take an intro course.

I still think the cake is a motherfucking lie.
