We are losing sense of time. With social media, a video that was posted 13 years ago could feel like it was posted the past week. Memories from an age ago pop up in our feed as if we shared them last year. Is this a good thing? I think not.

Things need to change. To invoke big changes, you have to make big changes. I seem to have forgotten this; perhaps I have been afraid of big changes because of my family, but now as if I feel like the whole family is stuck in a rut, and it's my fault. I didn't realize how bad this cold or whatever was going to get when I wrote my last entry. It really localized in my throat and nose, and my throat has been really swollen and sore, I think since Friday. This is not allergies. Been feeling pretty horrific the past few days, with what I'm assuming is allergies. This year has been challenging for me as far as sicknesses, after three years of nothing, I get the co-video, and then a month later nose-stuffing allergies(?) for a week, then another month later this. I got everything in the ground except the asparagus, which is probably going to take about an hour: 13 crowns spaced around 2 feet apart, with wide shallow holes to fan the roots out. Continuing on Half-Life: This seeing-the-future jazz may be bullocks, and something introduced with HL:A to retcon Eli's death. There is no evidence prior to that game that the future is set (or at least to a near infinite degree), or that G-man or the vorts could have knowledge of the future.
