I am left with a descision and it is plagueing me to this very moment.Do I the Nebulous Mr. Sketch continue pursuing my dream of being a magician. Or do I take path b. Say goodbye too my friends and leave town for job security and just start over...would anyone notice? Would anyone care ? Could I be Happy knowing I gave up my dream?Could I be happy

Aside from the fact I believe that if you can Actually give up on a dream (Even if it is a year old) then it wasn't really a dream and more of a fantasy. If the threat of shows that leave you feeling eh and the lack of living a normal life are going to deter you then you would fall under the catagory of "The only people who never make it are those who give up".

After 13-14 years of performance for money under my belt I know that nothing comes easy and you must be patient young grasshopper. I know you know all of this but giving up is only a voice in yer head that should be squelched. It only leads to trouble. It creeps in on me from time to time... but then I tie it back to a chair and throw it down the stairs into the pits from wence it came.

yadda yadda yadda... we ultimately do what we want.. not what we should.
