Why I don't own an iPod (yet)

I may be one of the few people who has held out on buying an iPod. There hasn't been a particular reason for holding out, either. Part of it has been that they are expensive, and by the time you purchase one, it's already out-dated. I fully intent on buying one eventually, cause they certainly are more Metro friendly. Perhaps Santa will take

Indeed...many times at work I've been in the middle of working on a plane and had my iPod and iStereoDock or whatever it is go from a pretty manly "Cowboys From Hell" (Pantera) straight to "Teardrops On My Guitar" (Taylor Swift). Of course, none of the guys care that I downloaded that for Allison...and if I was them, I wouldn't either ;-) Or how about the perils of your ENTIRE music collection on there? More than once, I've had to turn off the Backstreet Boys or Michael Bolton--which I don't listen to regularly, but put on there because, dammit, I paid for the CD. Ah, the humor that comes out of random mode...
