Update: January 29, 2006
I'm still alive...? Sorry for the long, looooooong silence. I realise I should have made this post a while ago. My computer's hard drive is close to full. Consequence of this is that it stopped working fine, and chances of me being able to operate Photoshop (...or any other proram, as a matter of fact) without crashing my computer are pretty close to nul. And sadly much, I'll have to deal with these annoying quirks until I have enough time to burn my hard drive's files on CDs and reformat. Which means, not soon.
... I'm digressing, though.
So, for those of you who aren't on my friends list, I'm happy to announce that the fanbooks have already been shipped to PSCompany some two weeks ago. Now awaiting/hoping for results...? (Seriously. How cool would that be?) I'll be sure to let you know if anything happens.
For the moment, since I thought it'd be nice you all would at least get to see what the fanbooks looked like, here are the pictures I took before they were all mailed off. Please note I am not posting pictures of the individual submissions. Not at the moment, at least. However, if you have submitted something and want to see where and how it's presented in the book(s), you can special-request it, and I will do my best to fulfill your wish as soon as computerly possible.
Voila:
*my ugly floor, the books, and presents that didn't fit in the books >[
*mea culpa: I am guilty of getting Nao a present that didn't fit in the book. I just couldn't resist when I came across that Devil/Pooh plush toy at the store. ;o;
*I ♥ my shaggy blue carpet ;o;
*it's probably my favorite book off the whole bunch too.
*the Sky Project album contains 49 sky pictures, and at least one picture from each participant. I will post them soon if anyone is interested...?
*since I was running out of time, I made Hiroto's fanbook while I was at work, for the most part, and mainly from stuff that I found at work and gave a second life to (since Hiroto is an eco-man).
*The burn marks should speak for themselves.
*this picture presents you the back cover of the book.
*KORN-themed book, I guess you could say.
*the buttons I used were a part of someone's submission that didn't fit in the book.
*this book is my mother's favorite. She thinks Saga is a really pretty girl, too.
*it's also the book that pissed me off the most. I redid it thrice before being satisfied with this one. I shoved the two crappy versions in the vortex in my closet and hope to never see them again. ;-;
*it was made with the most fox/Konkon-like fur I could find at my local fabric store (they suck). It's soft though. Nao should be happy.
*this picture just shows how the book should be opened.
So, hope that post was satisfying. I'll make another post some time this week with more fanbooks-related stuff, but right now I really need to get ready for bed. ;-; Off!
