Well another one of those nights where I am sitting here and reflecting on my life and basicallly I have come to the conclusion that somehow its got to change. I am in a void...rut call it what you will and I want to un-subscribe. The trouble is there are so many un-resolved issues in my life and they are gonna haunt me. have you thought about trying some voluntary work just to get you out meeting people?

yes....I go to a group for people in my situation and they find you voluntary work like in charity shops and such. Just awaiting a position. I need to anyway to get references for real employment.

Charity work is a good idea. There's no pressure but you get to meet people and the work can be quite varied so you don't get too bored. It will also help ease you back into 'real' employment. I think most jobs are stressful these days, but if you get something you enjoy it makes all the difference. The fact that you are thinking about wanting a job makes me think that you are indeed feeling better, and more positive. Hang on in there :)

Thanx....I think I am. My Mom said today I seem alot brighter. I have been told that the oxfam shop in town needs volunteers so I might enquire

I've worked for Oxfam, on and off, for several years. They're always looking for volunteers around here, and I expect it's the same in most of their shops.

Conservationist....writer....tattooist....national park ranger or anything working with wildlife and ecology.

a while ago you wrote about meeting that girl in the park who was high and talking about how weirdos are attracted to you. How about getting yourself together and then helping those weirdos who are attracted to you? :)

Yes....thats a good point as I do connect with them. Thanx thats something to bare in mind.
