Disclaimer: I own nothing but this story. But the basic storyline was inspired by The Who.
Chapter One:
http://strychninetwist.livejournal.com/1505.html “I saw you touching yourself Michael. Don’t you know you should ask permission first?” Mike knew he wasn’t mad though; Billie’s smile hadn’t dropped and this time he moved towards the camera, towards Mike. “Maybe you should ask me to help you next time. You’re so pretty Michael. Like the angel.” He could feel Billie’s hands now, smooth with callous fingertips, taking his hands and holding them together. Billie brought the hands up to his mouth to kiss them. He wanted to tell him how he couldn’t be beautiful next to someone so pretty but the words never came. “Won’t you speak to me Michael?” Mike opened his mouth again to respond but a moment later found himself in a groggy, half-asleep state.
“Mike, will you wake up? You need to get ready for church.”
It wasn’t until Mike was sat up that his Dad left the room. Mike sighed and looked at Billie’s picture. “I hate going to church,” he told him and got himself ready. He briefly wondered what the church might think of his attraction to Billie. He thought his father might know he thought he liked both boys and girls since he’d gifted Mike with Billie, but he couldn’t be sure.
For the first time a short while Mike tried to stop himself taking a nap through church. His dreams of Billie felt private and he didn’t want to have one surrounded by people that might never understand how he felt. Mike didn’t even really understand it. It was just a damn picture. When the sermon was finally finished, Mike slipped away from his Dad who was mingling and went to speak to the pastor alone. He remembered the last time he spoke to the pastor alone and cringed. He really didn’t like this guy.
“Michael, do you have another question for me?” he greeted Mike with an overly friendly smile.
“I saw something on TV once that I’ve never seen before, and I want to know if it’s okay,” Mike lied.
“Oh? Well what did you see?” the man reached for his Bible and Mike felt like rolling his eyes.
“I saw two boys kissing. I think they really liked eachother,” he began but the pastor stopped him with a raised hand.
“Those boys are going to hell Michael.”
Mike went back to his Dad with an unsettled stomach after the Pastor’s small speech and Bible quotes. He felt almost dirty and a little afraid. He never really believed in hell but his spine was still crawling. He wouldn’t look at Billie for the rest of the day and didn’t even go out with his friends when he got home, deciding to actually do his homework for once. He couldn’t get the Pastor’s words out of his head. Dinner that night didn’t sit well in his stomach and he went to bed early but he couldn’t sleep. All he could think of was Billie and the Pastor. He couldn’t be going to hell. Billie had said he was like the archangel and no one as beautiful as Billie could be banished from heaven surely. Maybe if he didn’t think of the beautiful boy in the poster he might get some sleep and save them both.
Mike didn’t exactly dream of Billie that night. Instead when he finally slept he had a nightmare that Lucifer himself had risen and taken Billie prisoner in the seventh circle for his own diabolical needs.
