So I went to see Pirates of the Caribbean: At Worlds End earlier today. It was really the only movie in the series that I was actually excited to see and it was worth the anticipation. Though the film tends to drag on at times, it was definitely worth the $6 admission (damn Rainbow Theatres raising their prices!). I found the movie did a few things

Anyway, I LOVED the movie. Jonathan and I got into a long discussion, though, about how the Calypso story line was never properly resolved, and seemed to just fizzle out. Thankfully, the rest of the movie was so cool, I didn't notice until we had left the theatre, like 10 minutes later.

For the record, we ALSO saw it for $6, did NOT have to go to Rainbow, AND got free popcorn and pop :)

And yay for pirates, not ninjas! This movie gave pirates enough points that even Jonathan, the staunch supporter of ninjas, agreed that getting married on a pirate ship would be cool!

:O you guys suck!!! Here in Markham we pay $9+ for a movie cuz our cheap one closed. SO JEALOUS!!! Plus I need to see the movie so I didn't read your whole post in case you even mention one little part...I will be back to read it afterward!
