Not my fault I've been quiet this time. The wave of violence that Jaiysh al-Mahdi unleashed in Baghdad fell largely on the eastern, Shi'a sections around Sadr City. The areas near us. For the most part, it fell on our neighboring battalions, so we had a couple of days of blackouts when they began taking casualties from the EFPs and RPG ambushes

I think we've done a fair job of breaking up some nasty Al Qaeda and Iran-supported terror cells...And I think we've made life a little better for some of the people around here.
But the Iraqi Gov't is still a shambling, corrupt mess, the city services are as broken down as ever, and the militias are only stronger.
I don't know.
