The experienced Death Eaters ordered the younger ones to leave but Evan refused until he thought he was the only one left. And we didn't even stay until it was over.

~ Regulus isn't citified but he knows his stuff and he apparates to London the second he passes the gates of Hogwarts, absent-mindedly and childishly crossing his fingers in his pocket hoping he doesn't do it wrong.

When he gets there it doesn't take him long to figure out where to look, flashes of light from fired hexes light up the dark night and someone yells to his left, a siren is playing in the distance as the muggles are alerted to the attack. Regulus doesn't dare light his wand for fear of being seen but he hurries toward the mess, scanning everywhere for Barty. ~

*Barty has slumped down behind a parked car, his knees having gotten in the way of a rather nasty hex that's essentially blown the his knee caps to bits, he hits the back of his head against the car's side repeatedly, frustrated, bored and in terrible pain all he wants is to get back into the thick of the battle*

*nearly trips over something he'd care not to find out what it is but spots Barty's familiar hair from around the corner of a car and runs to him*
