So great to hear from you! I got all the way to Friday morning before dark thoughts entered my mind! Kate insisted the chances of the whole group being abducted by a white slavery abduction ring were slim but then that's what they said about the virgin birth thing, so...

So glad to hear from you! anonymous July 9 2005, 13:04:56 UTC
Wonderful message from you! Almost as good as a picture. Your shower sounds like it was installed by plumbers from Amsterdam!
Sounds as if you are being pleasantly received - hope that is so and that it continues! Do you eat rice at every meal? How about bread? Hope things continue to go well! We are retelling your messages to each other and re-enjoyjng them! Lots of love Uma .

I forgot to ask...how was Toronto? Vancouver? The flight to Beijing?
Did you exercise? Use sleep aids? How are Jill and Molly?

What an experience anonymous July 10 2005, 16:14:34 UTC
Great to hear all is well. Your experience with your guide and the people is much the same as Jon found when he visited. As wonderful as the sights are, I think it was the people he met that most impressed. Yes, there are differences but aren't the things we share just as interesting.

Have a wonderful time exploring all aspects of this culture and I'll keep checking in for more updates.

Everyone says hi,
Susan
