It happened, on Wednesday afternoon I got my phone call!!! I made it into the pool, for the non Disney people, that means my name is on THE list that they pull the new merchandise managers from. will be getting another call telling me when I will be leaving and where I'll be going!

CONGRATS!! Does that mean you'll be staying at Studios? So exciting! Let me know when you get another day off sometime, we should totally do something.

Thanks! I could be anywhere :) I won't know until I get the other phone call. My day off this week is Thursday, because of Super Soap Weekend (I was pulled from the Courtyard to go coordinate it) we are on 6 days, and I already have plans with my mom. But I'll let you know when the next one is after that!

Yeah, definitely! My birthday's coming up in a couple weeks too, and I'm having dinner at L'Originale Alfredo di Roma in Italy of Epcot, and I'm crazy excited! It's gonna be a small group, so far just me, Carl, and another friend of mine. If you'd like to come, let me know! It's on the 15th, which is a Wed. so I understand if you're working, but I thought I'd still extend the invitation, as it's easier for you to get there than most people I know. :D

CONGRATULATIONS!!! Do you know a ballpark for how long it'll be before you get the call? (weeks? months?)

THANKS!!! It could be tomorrow, it could be in 3 months.... You can stay in the pool until they do the next round of interviews- that's usually 6 months, but the last 2 years they only did 1 a year not 2 so they stayed up to a year. I know people who were called within a month of getting in and people who found out in October but weren't pulled until April....
