Well, here goes nothing. This is my first ever entry into anything online. I am not exactly computer literate, and i dont' even know if anyone will ever read this. Hell, I don't even know if I will be able to post this correctly. That said, I am writing this bc, well, I have time on my hands. Actually, in this exact instance, I DONT have time ( Read more... )

Hahahhaa.. this was a sweet entry.
Where is the dog?

I'd suggest joining some communities to get people wandering in here and making comments..on the home page type in something and then change the menu to 'interest' and you'll find a bunch of things. There's a few pretty actie communities about pregnancy called (no surprise) 'pregnant' and '_pregnant_'.

Of course, the ANTM community is pretty sweet as well.

will look into this

I sometimes find that the online pregnancy pages are written by/for those who've been waiting all their lives to experience this oneness with God/creation and how they'd been made complete now that they have children and this little miracle of life inside them etc etc etc. One of the journals at Storknet, the only one I read, is by a woman named Shauna who has 2 adopted kids and got pregnant by fluke. They had been told they had a less than 1% chance of conceiving and so said, whatev, and adopted. Now that she is pregnant, she is not thrilled by all the wondrous changes, and points out that adoption is a billion times easier on your psyche and your body. Plus, she too has a 'stupid things people say' list (like "oh, you must be so happy to have your own baby now"). I think I love her.

yeah I was kind of getting that impression from the journals I was reading but there was also a lot of "OMG I've been told that my _____ is _____! WHAT DOES THIS MEAN" going on which I thought was kind of interesting in a purely anthropological "I will never do that" kind of way

the dog was locked on the front porch by the baby gate. I guess it was a nice change of pace for her and she didn't bark for about 3 hours.

Your sister told me to come here. Well, she told everyone who reads her journal to come here, so here I am. I'm a wacky girl in a wheelchair from New York, and I enjoyed your very first foray onto the internet. Here's to less boredom in your future!

omigod, it's kind of like your Mom fixing you up on a date. For the record (ftr?) I didn't tell her about the journal. I didn't actually think she'd find it.

I will try but so far I have had very little success finding Canadian TV shows. Although I did find New Zealand Idol (wtf?) and the Australian biggest loser.
