Honda knows it must've been hard for Ryou.
After all, Yuugi'd had enough trouble, and his Other had been actually looking out for him.
He knows also that he can't actually empathize with either of them. He's never had an Other of his own (a fact he's intensely grateful for) and so can't possibly know exactly what it was like for them.
He can't imagine it was very much fun though- having someone else inside your head day and night, never sure if this was real or if you were just insane.
And on top of that, having that person in your head hate you and want your friends dead and have the power to kill them with your body so that the blood was on your own hands.
Honda shivers and tries to offer what comfort he can.

Jonouchi doesn't blush. But he does make a face that clearly conveys that he is intensely uncomfortable with this.
Otogi smiles. "Turn."
And Jonouchi does. Turns in a slow sort of (very manly) twirl so Otogi can see all of him. Glares when he's finished because why in the world had he let himself get talked into this?
The fishnet tights itch along the back of his thigh and he scratches there, managing to rake his skirt up in the process.
“Very pretty.” Otogi steps forward, bringing their bodies (and then their lips) into contact.
And when they break apart, Jonouchi’s fairly certain that his cock is tenting the material of his skirt obscenely and he remembers how exactly he’d been talked into this.

Kaibas don't give up.
Kaibas don't hang up their hat at the end of the day and sink into a comfortable armchair to watch television.
Kaibas don't stop to rest. (Or eat or smile.)
So it's no wonder that a couple of years into this (into being a Kaiba) he's sick of it. Completely.
And he can't give up because he can't because he's a Kaiba now and Kaibas don't.
It’s Mokuba who pulls him through.
Mokuba who makes him stop, who brings him food at work and drags him home at 8:00pm every night and curls around him so he can sleep.
So he can keep going another day.

For some reason, I love this line: So it's no wonder that a couple of years into this (into being a Kaiba) he's sick of it. Completely. I think it's the way you punctuated the sentence, really makes me feel how Seto gets sick of it. And I also like how you make being a Kaiba a job, like there's a part of Seto that really wants to smile when he doesn't have to be unguarded.
The best imagery was of Mokuba curling around Seto - effectively stopping him from doing work by immobilizing Seto, but at the same time being warm and comforting.
Anyway, much ♥ for you and the fic.

Years and years and years later and Mokuba's far away at college and Yuugi's finally distanced himself enough from his Other that he can go a week (or even occasionally a month or two) without thinking about him at all.
They don't exactly fall in love, but there's a comfortable sort of sated feeling between them and they don't need very much in terms of company except each other.
Neither of them is really happy though. They're both settling for second best and that’s never going to be quite enough.
Not for either of them.

Fingers clamp around his arm- gently because it's Mokuba and Mokuba's never rough or fierce. Just needy and holding and asking him not to leave.
Kaiba unbends those fingers with his own and pushes Mokuba away because this is too close and he can't do close with Mokuba.
Close makes him hard.
Close makes him shake and want and wish.
And since he can't have, he can't afford to want.
(Hates the wanting because he shouldn't. Because it's Mokuba and he loves Mokuba and he shouldn't love Mokuba like that.)
So he leaves Mokuba alone in their bed (with wide, pleading eyes that threaten to draw him back again) and dresses for work.
Tomorrow, Kaiba's going to insist that Mokuba sleep in his own bed, in his own room, alone.
Tomorrow, Kaiba’s going to give in too quickly when Mokuba crawls silently back into bed with him in the middle of the night.
